Lake Titicaca Extension4 Days - 3 Nights

Day 1 - PUNO

Upon arrival to Juliaca´s airport, transfer to the hotel located in Puno, on the shore of Lake Titicaca.

On the way we will visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani; stone cylinder burial chambers used by the Aymaras to bury their important leaders. Lake Umayo, located in front of the Chullpas, adds further beauty to the place. You will also have the opportunity to observe several local typical birds.

Overnight in Puno. One night, one room (double occupancy) including breakfast, hotel tax and service charge.

Day 2 - SUASI

After breakfast, very early in the morning, we will have an unforgettable motorboat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca towards Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel, located on the small private island of Suasi, one of the most beautiful and special islands within Lake Titicaca. En route you will visit the floating islands of Uros and the Taquile (the most traditional community, located on the Northern part of the island).

Please take note that departures are programmed at 7am with fixed departures. Casa Andina offers a multitude of activities on their private island – most of which are included in the cost of a stay.

• Trekking along trails within Suasi Island
• Visiting protected areas to observe flora and fauna
• Visiting Andean farming plots and cultivated parcels with aromatic and medicinal herbs
• Canoe riding around Suasi Island
• Walking along the beach

Day 3 - SUASI

Spend the day taking part in various activities offered on this private island, or simply relax!.

Day 4 - PUNO - LIMA

After and early breakfast, bid farewell to Suasi Island and take a boat ride back to Puno, where you will be met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima.
